Senior ’11: Nate | Dallas Senior Photography
For Nate, I knew I had to get creative and shoot something awesome. Seeing that I’m dating his gorgeous older sister, I just couldn’t let him down. Since I knew his favorite artist is Eminem, I wanted to shoot some shots that would be “rap poster” cool. After scouting online for several weeks I came across the perfect location, an abandoned incinerator! From the info I found online, I new it was going to have graffiti everywhere and everywhere it certainly was. Every surface of this place was covered. Despite being scared out of my mind, we got some crazy senior photos!
DBU Spring ’11 Sports Megapost
One of my duties in working for Dallas Baptist University’s Marketing Department is to cover the sporting events. I’ve always enjoyed sports, so I’m getting paid to take pictures of all the games is a dream job! I quickly found however, its not that easy to get usable, let alone good photos. With some luck and a lot of practice, these are a few of my favorites from each sport I covered this last semester.
DBU Basketball finished off the season very strong, going on to win the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship! The bottom picture was taken on senior day with the seniors, their family, and the rest of the team.
Although I never had chance to shoot Men’s Tennis, the ladies showed me just how surprisingly fun it is to shoot tennis! I love all the expressions.
Went to my first track meet ever. It was a learning experience to say the least. Note to self, find the event schedule before you drive out to it!
DBU just wouldn’t be complete without its’ baseball team! I spent the majority of the semester shooting baseball games so, I have a ton of shots. Patriot Baseball did exceptionally well this year finishing with a record of 39-17. They beat all the “big schools” such as OSU, OU, TCU, Rice, and Texas Tech and Jason Krizan set a new NCAA record for most doubles hit in a single season and in 18 less games than the previous record!

Congrats to all the DBU athletes for playing with both excellence and integrity. It’s been a pleasure capturing it all, can’t wait for the next season!
Senior ’11: Sarah | San Antonio Senior Photographer
So once again, I’m playing catch up on the blog… I’ve got several seniors, a wedding, sports, etc to post up. Let’s start with Sarah’s senior portraits!
I was super excited for this shoot and Sarah certainly lived up to it. She has so much energy and was a natural in front of the camera.

Sarah was a rockstar and crossed the river (it was moving quite fast and was past knee depth) so we could get this shot!

Sarah brought along her friend Sarah (confusing right?!) and matching dresses for some cute “best friend” shots.
