I promise I am attempting to finish up a few of these vacation posts so we can move on to more exciting things ie. a wedding, new college events, some commercial work, etc.

On our amazing family vacation this summer we went to the San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. For yet another year, Switchfoot, perhaps the most underrated band today (oh and my personal favorite) played there. As every good fanboy knows you must get there early to stand in line for front row. So that’s what we did. Plus its easier to get great pictures from up close (couldn’t get a photopass this year!).

The next day we headed over to La Jolla, just to sightsee and enjoy the beautiful summer day. We walked on the cliffs, descended a musty stairwell to see the caves, watched the sea lions and seals; we did it all! Such a fantastic day.
